Two icons were lost this week to suicide, but their contributions to the world will never be forgotten. Kate Spade made the fashionably unattainable attainable and @anthonybourdain’s exploration of culture through food opened our eyes to the world. Both will be sorely missed.

I drew her again yay! For those who are new here, this is my version of a pre-colonial Filipino Ladybug that I’d come up with back in 2016. Yes, it’s been that long. Her name is Urduja and is a princess and ruler of her land up in North Luzon. She’s based on a real-life legendary ruler with the same name. I had written a blurb on where I was going with her here. But since then, I also found out the “real” Urduja apparently lead a group of warrior women called the Kinalakihan.

inspiring but one thing I have to add, please don’t get drunk with your TAs when they are your TAs. It kind of breaches professionalism that they need to maintain, especially if you are an undergrad. I would switch to talk to your TAs! You can learn a lot from them, not just about the class either.
in honor of his famous detective grandpa, toug finally realized that, for once, the wealth and knowledge he was taught could actually come to good use. he actually had a knack for this, and his skills were more than enough to solve such a thing, surely!! it was time to dig up that old halloween costume.

he sets off into the night to look for must, the ex wife. maybe he can find more answers if she talks to his masked persona than his actual self. or maybe he might encounter her kids and ask what happened to their father. should and could might answers as well.
Meanwhile, Must , dressed in all black, was grieving at the empty larder. The “poop assassin” have struck and left her poor children, Should and Could, starving. Winter is approaching what will they eat? She had no money after having the bury her ex-husband Droulgoz, They might have divorce but the old fool had no one else.
Her only hope was in if the local parish would be able to provide them enough food to last the winter. And hopefully the “poop assassins” don’t strike again. If they do she would have no choice but to leave for better pastures.
